To establish and certify that Personal Protective Equipment meets the relevant requirements of the PPE 89/686/EEC directive, Personal Protective Equipment in categories II and III must be submitted to an 'approved inspection body' for an EC type examination. (89/686/EEC Art.10, 1-2) Here you will find a current list of approved Notified Bodies currently performing EC examinations.
